Alessandro Lucatelli is an accomplished student currently serving as a Mentee with Lead The Future Mentorship, having been selected from a competitive pool of Italian students in a program that fosters STEM leadership through mentorship. As a Research Engineer and Master Thesis Student at EPFL's Medical Image Processing Laboratory under Prof. Dimitri Van De Ville, Alessandro is advancing in the field of biomedical engineering. Previous experience includes a summer research internship at MIP:lab and voluntary work with the Foresight Institute, where contributions were made to the development of a molecular machines tech-tree. Alessandro holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering from Politecnico di Milano, an Erasmus degree from Grenoble INP - Phelma, and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering from Sapienza Università di Roma.
