Alex Jones

Alex Jones is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer technical support and local governance. Currently serving as the Customer Technical Support Manager at Cornerstone Building Brands since January 2024, Alex brings a wealth of knowledge from previous roles, including Software Support Manager at OpenText from May 2004 to October 2023, and Technical Support Contractor at Alternative Resources Corporation from 1997 to 2004. In addition to a robust career in technology support, Alex has been actively involved in local government as the Mayor Pro Tem and City Councilman for Oak Ridge North since 2016, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Oak Ridge North Economic Development Corporation since 2015. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Disaster Management from the University of North Texas, completed from 1987 to 1994.
