Arjan Veldhuizen

Arjan Veldhuizen has extensive experience in the field of environmental analysis, currently serving as Convenor for the Working Group on Inorganic Analysis at NEN since February 2004, where responsibilities include developing national standards for chemical analysis of inorganic parameters and acting as the national mirror group for ISO and CEN. Concurrently, since February 1998, Arjan has held the position of Technical Manager at Eurofins, focusing on developing and maintaining analytical methods in the laboratory. Prior experience includes serving as Lab Manager at Oranjewoud from 1986 to 1998, overseeing technical, operational, and budgetary aspects for a staff of 75, and working as an Analyst on the Radon (SAWORA) project at KVI from 1982 to 1986. Arjan's educational background includes a BSc in Chemistry from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and further studies in business administration, adding a solid foundation in both scientific and managerial disciplines.
