Tomas Salgado

Tomas Salgado is a professional with a strong background in software engineering and product development. Currently serving as a Founding Engineer at Stealth since February 2025, Tomas is focused on building foundation models for drug discovery. As a Neo Scholar at Neo since August 2023, Tomas is involved in advanced research and development. Previously, at ColorStack, Tomas worked as a Product Engineer, contributing to the open-source member platform Oyster, which supports over 10,000 Black and Latinx students in tech careers. Past experience includes software engineering roles at LinkedIn, Datadog, and Amazon, as well as research assistant positions at Cornell University in the fields of HCI, Ubiquitous Computing, and Computer Graphics. Tomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Cornell University.
