Jorge Ganopolsky has a diverse work experience in the field of life sciences. Jorge is currently serving as the Scientific Director at Neopharm Labs since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Dynacare for 9 years, where they held the positions of Manager, Scientific Affairs and Assay and Service Development Manager. At Dynacare, their responsibilities included research, evaluation of biomarkers and technologies, and collaboration with partners for distribution agreements and technology transfers. Jorge also played a key role in developing business plans and designing companion diagnostics strategies.
Before joining Dynacare, Jorge worked at Micropharma as a Research Scientist, leading the research and development of probiotics and wound healing devices. Jorge also managed preclinical studies and screened probiotic candidates.
Jorge's academic background includes a post-doctoral fellowship at McGill University and a graduate student position at the University of Notre Dame.
Jorge Ganopolsky obtained their PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Notre Dame, where they studied from 1996 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Buenos Aires, earning a degree in Chemistry as a Licenciado. Jorge attended the University of Buenos Aires from 1989 to 1994. Jorge'searlier education was completed at Colegio Nacional de Buenos Aires from 1983 to 1988, although the specific degree obtained during this time is not mentioned.
