James Szendel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. James started their career as a Noncommissioned Officer in the USMC from 1988 to 1992. James then worked at Alogent Corporation from 2000 to 2007, holding various software engineering and management positions. At Alogent, they led the Solution Services Team and later joined the Technical Services Team to provide research and development expertise. From 2007 to 2008, they served as the Director of Implementation Services at VSoft, where they reorganized and redirected the services group. James joined Scientific Games in 2008 and held the positions of Software Development Manager and Director of Software Development, overseeing the development of lottery products and managing multiple state projects. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Senior Software Development Manager at Dycom Industries, Inc. Currently, they are employed at Neptune Technology Group, where they have held roles as Director of Software Development, Senior Director of Software Development, and is currently serving as the Vice President of Software Development.
James Szendel attended The University of Georgia from 1994 to 1999. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science.
