Nikita Shah is an accomplished founder of untitle by nikita, specializing in upcycled luxury fashion and serving as a Kalamkari artist and South Asian textiles educator since January 2020. Currently holding the position of Head of Operations at Sustainable Fashion Week US, Nikita leads a team to organize both virtual and live events while developing operational strategies. As part of the Nest Expert Network, Nikita collaborates with artisans and businesses to address challenges and enhance their capabilities. Previous roles include Textile Designer at Marasim, Fashion History Researcher at Indigo Blue Style, and Head of Operations at Ave, India Design Collective, along with extensive experience as Head Designer at Gaurang. Nikita's educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fashion/Apparel Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Textile Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology India.
