Peter Zonneveld

Peter Zonneveld serves as the President of Neste US since September 2016, spearheading the company’s strategy and performance in the Americas while overseeing legal, advocacy, and compliance efforts. Previously, Peter held roles including Vice President of Renewable Road Transport for Europe and Asia Pacific, where leadership focused on decarbonising road transport and managing the Neste Suisse office. Alongside current responsibilities, Peter is a member of the Management Board at Martinez Renewables LLC, contributing to the strategic direction of the renewables refinery. Peter’s extensive experience includes senior positions at Castrol and BP, where significant responsibilities encompassed growth, profitability, and operational efficiency across various global markets. Peter holds an MSc in Business Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam and has completed leadership programs at IMD and Northwestern University.
