Ivan Petkov

Ivan Petkov is a seasoned professional in cybersecurity with extensive experience in managing security operations. Currently serving as a Senior Manager and Security Operations Center Manager at Netrix Global since August 2016, Ivan oversees a range of services, including Security Information Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response, and Incident Response. Previous roles include Team Lead in Information Security with a focus on McAfee SIEM, IBM Qradar, and Azure Sentinel, as well as Network and Security Engineer positions, providing network support and security engineering. Prior to Netrix Global, Ivan worked as a Security Operations Support Engineer at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, specializing in Endpoint Threat Management, and began a career as a Service Engineer at Komplex 2000, handling electronics and computer network maintenance. Ivan holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies with a major in Engineer Forensic Expertise from Burgas Free University.
