Jeremy Banks

Jeremy Banks is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Te Pae Tauhokohoko Chair, Deputy Chair, Whenua Board Chair, and Director at Wakatū Incorporation since December 2015, and as Chair of the Network for Learning (N4L) since July 2017, Banks is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities through technology. As the founder of Plink Software, Banks has developed several innovative software applications, including a mobile app for learning Te Reo Māori. Additionally, Banks contributes as a Director at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and has held roles including Deputy Chair and Trustee at Ngāti Rārua Ātiawa Iwi Trust. Other significant contributions include directorships at KONO NZ, the Nelson Regional Development Agency, and membership in Science for Technological Innovation's Kāhui Māori advisory group. Jeremy Banks holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
