Yafu Zhao

Yafu Zhao is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector and financial technology. Currently serving as Managing Director at Zhenhe Capital since July 2018, Yafu focuses on the renewable energy value chain and digitalization. In addition, Yafu holds the position of Head of Climate Fintech at New Energy Nexus since May 2020, where efforts are directed towards building accelerators to support Climate FinTech initiatives aimed at catalyzing decarbonization. Previous roles include Regional Director at PING AN from May 2014 to June 2018, and Data Analyst at Discover Financial Services from October 2012 to May 2014, where responsibilities included forecasting credit loss and optimizing data processes. Yafu Zhao holds a Master of Finance from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Science in Mathematical Finance from Rutgers University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Central University for Nationalities.
