Kate Ward

Kate Ward is an experienced transportation planner currently serving as the Director of Trans-Hudson Planning at NJ TRANSIT since October 2021. Prior to this role, Kate was the Assistant Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation, managing diverse projects aimed at neighborhood planning and economic growth from April 2017 to October 2021. Kate's career began at Parsons Brinckerhoff as a Junior Transportation Planner and progressed to a Planner at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the UK, where significant contributions included overseeing major infrastructure projects and producing business cases. Kate holds a Master of Science in Public Policy from UCL and a BA in History from Amherst College.
