Anna Arakelyan

Anna Arakelyan currently serves as Corporate Vice President and Lead Data Scientist at New York Life Insurance Company since April 2023. Previously, Anna held the position of Lead Data Scientist and AVP at MassMutual from August 2017 to March 2023, where Anna also worked as a Senior Data Scientist in the same capacity. Academic experience includes teaching Statistics and Econometrics as an Adjunct Professor at City University of New York City College and Queens College, focusing on data analysis techniques using SPSS, R, and Stata. Anna's early career includes a role as a Research Associate at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics and as a Loan Specialist at Credit Europe Bank Russia. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Economics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York, alongside a Master's in Quantitative Economics from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
