Prior roles include Independent Consultant at Comunicación Estratégica and Partner at AF Comunicación Estratégica, where Fernando developed communication strategies for over 20 clients across diverse industries. From August 1996 to January 2007, Fernando held the position of Communication and Public Affairs Manager at CEMEX, focusing on stakeholder management and communication strategies. Fernando's educational background includes an MBA from UQAM, a postgraduate specialization in Public Relations from Universidad Catolica Santo Domingo, and a degree in Marketing from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña.
