Katie Atkins

Katie Atkins, PHR, IMBA, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in compensation analysis, talent acquisition, and development. Currently serving at Newmont Corporation as a Senior Global HR Compensation Analyst and previously as a Senior Global HR Business Systems Specialist, Katie contributes to one of the world's largest gold producers. Prior roles include Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist and Recruiter/HR Coordinator at Haynes Mechanical Systems, and a Graduate Student Counselor at the University of Denver where efforts focused on student recruitment. Additionally, contributions as a Human Resources Intern at Merrick & Company included process improvements, while a role as Global Technology Coordinator at Neuse Charter School involved curriculum development for technology in education. Katie holds a B.A. in Communications from East Carolina University, an International Study Experience from Københavns Universitet, and an International MBA in Business Management from the University of Denver.
