Marisol Lozano

Marisol Lozano is an experienced geologist with a robust background in geological modeling and exploration. Currently serving as a Geologo de Modelamiento at Minera Yanacocha since October 2012, Marisol focuses on long-term modeling and reserve evaluation through various analytical techniques. Prior roles include Geologo de Mina at MYSRL, where supervision of diamond drilling was a key responsibility, and significant contributions to the Las Bambas project at Xstrata Peru involving geological logging and surface mapping. Early career experience includes a Junior Geologist position at Minera Barrick Misquichilca S.A. specializing in drilling programs and geological cartography. Marisol holds a degree in Geología from Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería and a Diplomatura en Geometalurgia from Universidad Pontificia Católica del Perú.
