Host Of Newsmakers at NewsChannel 9 WSYR

Andrew Donovan is an experienced media professional currently serving as the host of NewsChannel 9’s "Newsmakers," a local public affairs broadcast in Syracuse, since July 2013. Prior to this role, Andrew held the position of senior reporter at NewsChannel 9, delivering daily breaking news and enterprise stories, and making public appearances for the station. Andrew's career includes a tenure at WKTV NewsChannel 2 as a reporter and digital media producer, as well as an internship at NBC News, where assistance was provided during the Second Inauguration of Barack Obama. Andrew also has experience as a social media coordinator for Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and served as an executive assistant at NBC Universal for a brief period. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, completed in 2012.
