Daniel C. May currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at TREX-Ai since October 2020 and is a participant in the 2023 cohort at Next AI. Alongside these roles, Daniel is pursuing a PhD at the University of Alberta, focusing on the integration of local energy markets with AI-driven methods to optimize Distributed Energy Resources. This research has led to several publications and the development of a commercial venture. Daniel holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, completed between 2010 and 2016.
