Chad K Nielson is an experienced project manager with a strong background in managing large-scale energy and engineering projects. Currently employed at NextDecade, LLC since February 2016, Chad oversees the Rio Grande LNG project in the NEPA permit filing process. Previously, at Shell from 2009 to 2015, Chad held multiple roles, including project manager and project lead, contributing to significant projects with sizes ranging from $370M to $750M, where Chad facilitated improvements in safety, project scheduling, and contractor performance. Prior roles also include project engineering at WorleyParsons, VP and project manager at REDD Engineering & Construction, and business development manager at American Gilsonite Company. Chad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah.
