Diego Chávez

Diego Chávez is a CFA and FRM charterholder currently serving as the Portfolio Manager of Wholesale Power at NextEra Energy, Inc. and co-founder of Casa Oasis, both roles started in August 2023. Previously, Diego worked at hi:hab as a Strategy Associate from January to June 2023 and held multiple positions at Banco Central de Reserva del Perú from May 2013 to May 2022, including Specialist in Financial Research, Specialist in Capital Markets and Financial Regulation, Research Specialist on Money Market and FX Operations, and Money Market and FX Trader. Additionally, Diego was a Teacher Assistant for the Financial Derivatives course in the Master in Finance Program at Universidad del Pacífico in 2015-2016. Diego obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidad de Lima and completed studies at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from May 2022 to May 2023.
