Justin Mead

Justin Mead has extensive experience in tax law, particularly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and partnership tax, with a strong focus on the energy sector, including renewable and alternative energy. Currently serving as Senior Managing Tax Counsel at NextEra Energy, Inc. since August 2012, Justin has held various senior positions in tax planning and policy, demonstrating expertise in corporate tax and consolidated groups. Prior to this role, Justin worked at KPMG LLP, Greenberg Traurig, LLP, and McDermott Will & Emery, accumulating significant knowledge in tax equity investments and private equity issues. Justin's education includes advanced degrees in tax law and business, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
