Cristi-Adrian Nicolaescu has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Cristi-Adrian started their career at Bitdefender in 2012 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on Endpoint Security, an antivirus product for enterprise environments. Their role involved using C++ and Python to develop the main product, as well as creating internal tools for virus analysis and software development. Cristi-Adrian also had expertise in Windows OS internals, including inter-process communication, multi-threading, networking, file system, security, and debugging.

In 2015, they joined Electronic Arts (EA) as a Software Engineer for Ghost Games, working on the Need For Speed (2015) title. Cristi-Adrian was part of the Online team and developed several features that required a permanent connection to a server. Cristi-Adrian utilized EA's proprietary game engine, Frostbite, to develop new features for the AAA game.

In 2018, Cristi-Adrian Nicolaescu joined Flyability as a Lead Software Engineer. Their role involved leading the software engineering team.

Since 2016, they have been working at Nexthink, where they started as a Software Engineer and progressed to the positions of Senior and Principal Software Engineer Technical Lead.

Cristi-Adrian Nicolaescu began their education journey in 2009 at Universitatea "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" din Iași, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Cristi-Adrian completed this program in 2012. In 2013, they also attended Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée for a brief period, focusing on Science et Ingénierie informatiques at the Institut d'électronique et d'informatique Gaspard-Monge (IGM).

Afterward, Adrian continued their education at the University of Bucharest from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, specializing in Distributed Computing. In 2014, they briefly attended the same university for further studies in Computer Science.

Additionally, in 2008, Cristi-Adrian obtained a certification in IT Essentials: PC Hardware and Software from Cisco.
