Doug Dromgoole has a comprehensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Doug began their career in 1986 at AT&T Power Systems, where they worked as a Member Technical Staff until 1995. In 1996, they joined Torrey Science Corp as a Member Technical Staff and stayed with them until 1998. Doug then joined Qualcomm Inc as a Sr member of Technical Staff, where they worked until 2003. During this time, they also worked at Kyocera Wireless as a Senior Staff Engineer from 2003 to the same year. From 2003 to 2005, Doug worked as an RF Manager at VIA Telecom. In 2005, they moved to Motorola and served as an Electrical Engineering Manager until 2007. Following this, they joined Nextivity and held multiple positions, including Director, Hardware from 2007 to 2020, Sr. Director Hardware from 2020 to 2022, and currently Vice President, Hardware Engineering at Nextivity since January 2022.
Doug Dromgoole earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Doug attended from 1982 to 1986. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed from 1988 to 1990.
