Chen Wei Low has worked in the tech industry since 2004. Chen Wei began their career as an Intern at Sun Microsystems in 2004. In 2007, they joined Power Automation Pte Ltd as a Software Engineer, where they designed and developed the first electricity prepaid system in Singapore, Electricity Vending System (pilot project). Chen Wei also maintained and developed new features for Power Quality Monitoring System, as well as developed OLE for Process Control (OPC) Client. In 2011, they moved to NCS Group as an Application Consultant, where they designed Oracle BPM solution for enterprise clients. In 2012, they joined NextLabs, Inc. as an Engineering Manager and Principal Software Engineer, where they designed and developed Enterprise Digital Rights Management product for Siemens PLM from scratch, assisted product owner on product roadmap planning, and worked closely with product owner to translate high level requirements to detail designs.
Chen Wei Low has a comprehensive educational background. In 2011-2013, they completed a Master of Technology in Software Engineering from the National University of Singapore. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Computing with a Technology focus from the same institution in 2005-2007. Chen Wei also holds a Diploma in Information Technology from Singapore Polytechnic, which they completed in 2002-2005 majoring in Information System. Additionally, Low has obtained several certifications including TOGAF 9 from The Open Group in 2013, AIIM BPM Master from AIIM International in 2013, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3) Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner in 2012, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2018, and AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2017.
