Siamak Feizi

Senior Geotechnical Engineer at NGI - Norwegian Geotechnical Institute

Siamak Feizi is a highly experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) since February 2018, previously serving as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer at DNV GL from January 2009 to January 2018. At DNV GL, Siamak specialized in soil-structure interaction analyses for various offshore foundations, including Jackets, Jack-ups, Gravity Based Structures, subsea structures, wind turbines, pipelines, anchors, and ports and terminals, and acted as the contact person for dynamic and earthquake analyses. Prior to these roles, Siamak was a visiting PhD student at NGI, focusing on cyclic triaxial tests on asphalt concrete. An academic background includes a Ph.D. in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering from the University of Tehran, complemented by a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the same university and Amirkabir University of Technology, respectively.
