Gulnaz Can

Gulnaz Can is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marketing, journalism, and governance. Currently serving as a Senior Marketing Manager at Nicoll Curtin since May 2022, Gulnaz has also held the role of Marketing and Media Manager and Governor at ARK Globe Academy since January 2017. As a freelance journalist since 2012, Gulnaz has contributed to notable publications such as the Guardian and Hurriyet, while also serving as the arts editor for Protagonist Magazine. With a significant background in leadership, Gulnaz was the Chair of the Board of Trustees at GlobalGirlMedia UK from May 2016 to February 2021 and worked with Open Society Foundations as a Program Specialist and Consultant. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Sociology: Gender, Media and Culture from Goldsmiths, University of London, and a Bachelor's Degree in Management of Performing Arts from Istanbul Bilgi University.
