Sharad Sawant is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data science and measurement. Currently serving as Executive Director and Director of Methods Data Science at NielsenIQ since January 2021, Sharad leads the RES Strategy and Reinvention team. Prior to this role, Sharad held various positions at Nielsen from May 2008 to January 2021, including Director of Buy Methods Data Science and Director of Measurement Science, overseeing statistical methods across regions including Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. Additionally, Sharad has a background in business process improvement as a Black Belt and has held senior roles in measurement science. Earlier experience includes working at Japan Kantar Research and Research International, focusing on data processing and project management. Sharad earned a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Mumbai between 1998 and 2001.
