Shotaro Ishihara

Shotaro Ishihara is a seasoned professional in research and data analysis, currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at Nikkei since October 2017, where previous roles also included Research Scientist and Data Scientist. Prior experience includes several positions at The University of Tokyo Newspaper from April 2013 to September 2017, such as Event Coordinator, Editor in Chief, and various editorial and writing roles in the digital and paper editions. Shotaro Ishihara holds a Master's degree from the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences and a Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Engineering, both obtained from The University of Tokyo.
