Sarah Marotz

Sarah Marotz is a Principal Process Integration Engineer at Niron Magnetics, Inc., since January 2024, focusing on integration engineering to support continuous improvement in the scaleup manufacturing of nano-particle magnetic materials. Previously, Marotz spent over two decades at Seagate Technology, achieving roles such as Senior Staff Product Engineer, where integration of recording head subsystems was executed, and Senior Staff Development Engineer, developing new process techniques for dimensional control of recording heads. Additionally, experience includes positions as Staff Quality Engineer and Process Engineer in the hard disc drive industry. Marotz also served as Director of Operations at Digility, growing a charity event significantly, and began the career as an Engineering Intern at Argonne National Lab. A B.S. in Ceramic Engineering was obtained from Iowa State University in 1998.
