Markus Mingenbach has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Markus currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Chlor-Alkali at Nobian, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Covestro from 2016 to 2023, where they held various roles including Global Vice President PU Specialties, Vice President Thermoplastic Polyurethanes Asia/Pacific, and Vice President Specialty Films APAC. Before Covestro, they worked at Avery Dennison as a Global Segment Director from 2013 to 2016. Their earlier experience includes various roles at Bayer MaterialScience from 2006 to 2013, such as Director Marketing Excellence, Commercial Marketing Manager, Head of Business Models, Polycarbonates APAC, Project Manager & Business Partner, and Continuous Improvement.

Markus Mingenbach completed their MBA degree from HKUST Business School from 2009 to 2011. Prior to that, they obtained their BSc in International Business from Maastricht University between 2002 and 2005. In 2004, Markus also studied International Business at the University of Calgary. In 2019, they obtained a certification called the Stifinder Programme from Stifinder - Since 1994.
