Philipp Polenz has extensive work experience in the chemical industry. Philipp is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Nobian since October 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Commercial Officer & Head of Strategy at Nobian from July 2021 to October 2023. Before joining Nobian, Philipp worked at Nouryon as Deputy President Industrial Chemicals from May 2020 to June 2021. Philipp also had a long tenure at Covestro, where they held multiple senior roles including SVP Polycarbonates Mobility, SVP Commercial Operations Polycarbonates North America, Head of Regional Product Management, Head of Commercial Operations Polyurethanes ASEAN / ANZ, General Manager, Head of Mergers & Acquisitions, and Director Continuous Improvement.
Philipp Polenz attended IMD in 2009 but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study. Prior to that, they participated in the European Business Program in Münster / Rotterdam from 2000 to 2003, also without specifying a field of study or degree obtained.
