Dr. Lana El Chaar is the current Vice President of the Center of Excellence at NOMAC a leading O&M provider which is 100% owned by ACWA Power.
Lana has been leading the implementation of a strategic transformation portfolio to drive operational efficiencies, whilst supporting NOMAC’s and ACWA Power’s growth objectives.
Prior to joining NOMAC, Lana was affiliated with multinational companies and academic institutions where she led the digital services and focused on research and publications respectively.
Dr. Lana is the recipient of the ‘Women in New Energy Award 2022’ Technology leader of the Year” awarded by First view Intelligent Business.
Lana graduated in Electrical Engineering, Power electronics and received her BSEE, MSEE and Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, USA.
