Rachel Turner-Lauck

Rachel is a dynamic leader at the core of NORR’s Chicago Office, providing significant client value through her management of day-to-day office operations, talent development and project delivery. She leads teams of staff architects, project managers and designers, as well as managing the office’s quality control procedures and production schedule. Since 2005, Rachel has made her mark at NORR, initially as a designer, followed by roles in project management, and today as Director of Operations.

Rachel plays a key role in strategic planning, operations budgeting, operational financial management and risk mitigation for the Chicago Office and its six market sectors including: Commercial, Hospitality, Residential, Residential Care, Restaurants and Retail. She works across studios and sectors to set achievable timelines and to assemble the right design teams to meet client project objectives.

Rachel’s love of design combined with her technical experience and business acumen are at the heart of her approach to management. She places equal emphasis on design excellence, technical achievement and business success.
