Matthew Simones

Matthew Simones is a Principal Test Engineer at Nortek Data Center Cooling since June 2021 and has extensive academic experience, currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty member in Automotive Engineering Technology at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Simones has previously held various teaching positions at Minnesota State University, including Assistant Professor in Automotive and Manufacturing Engineering Technology, where courses ranged from Automotive Driveability to Senior Design Projects. Prior experience includes roles at Nortek Air Solutions and a research fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia, where significant work in aerosol particle characterization and numerical modeling was conducted. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia and multiple degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato, alongside an Associate's degree in Medium and Heavy Truck Technology from Hennepin Technical College.
