Katreshia Verrett

Katreshia Verrett currently serves as Deputy Athletic Director at the University of Alabama at Birmingham since 2017. Previously, Katreshia has worked at North Carolina A&T State University as Associate Athletic Director of Compliance/SWA since April 2011, where responsibilities include managing sport teams, conflict resolution, problem solving, goal setting, and hiring and firing. From August 2006 to 2011, Katreshia held the position of Assistant Director of Compliance at Georgia Institute of Technology, providing support for student-athletes, staff, faculty, coaches, agents, financial advisors, and the Institute regarding compliance with GTAA, NCAA, ACC, and Georgia State Laws. Academic qualifications include a B.S. in Education from the University of Miami, a JD from Southern University Law Center, and a Master of Education in Sports Administration from the University of Miami.
