Kenrett Jefferson-Moore has held various prominent academic positions at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University since 2004, currently serving as the Director of the HBCU Agriculture Business Innovation Center and the Department Chairperson of Agribusiness, Applied Economics, and Agriscience Education. In addition to these roles, Kenrett has been a Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Prior experience includes serving as an Economist Assistant at the U.S. Department of Agriculture - Economic Research Service from May 2002 to May 2004, and as a Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant at Auburn University from August 2000 to May 2004. Kenrett holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Economics from Auburn University, a Master of Science in Agribusiness Management from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics (Agribusiness Management) from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
