Paul Baker, PhD, is a seasoned academic and administrator with extensive experience in higher education and cultural institutions. Currently, Paul serves as a Professor of History at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University since July 2020. In addition to this role, Paul is the Executive Director of Contemporary Art Museum CAM Raleigh from September 2022 to March 2025. Prior to these positions, Paul was the Director of Quality Enhancement Plan at North Carolina Central University from May 2016 to July 2020. Educationally, Paul holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, a Master of Arts (MA) from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Master of Development Practice (MDP) from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
