Brian Babendir

Brian Babendir, CPA, CRMA, currently serves as the Head of IT Audit at NorthShore University HealthSystem, where responsibilities include leading the implementation of the Cyber Security Framework (NIST-CSF) and managing Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance efforts. With extensive experience in auditing and related fields, Brian has held significant leadership roles within The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Northwest Metro Chicago Chapter, including President and Vice President of Programs. As a professional speaker with Audit Essentials, Brian provides training tailored to the specific needs of participants. Previous roles include Internal Audit at Anixter, CEO of Audit and Business Consultants, LLC, Audit Operations Director at CNA Insurance, and Corporate System Audit Manager at Spiegel Group. Brian holds a B.S. in Accounting from Northern Illinois University.
