Cavinda Caldera

Cavinda Caldera is an experienced professional in technology management and strategy, currently serving as Lead Program Manager for Technology Learning and Research Programs at Northwestern Mutual since July 2020. Prior to this role, Cavinda held the position of Practice Director for Technology Strategy, Operations, and Security at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from July 2011 to October 2020. Previous experience includes serving as a Consultant in the Strategy Execution Office at Capital One in 2010-2011 and as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2005 to 2010. Cavinda's educational background includes a Ph.D. (ABD) in Information Science from Syracuse University, a Master's degree in Telecommunications Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Management, both from Western Michigan University. Additionally, early education was completed at Royal College Colombo from 1981 to 1992.
