Sonny Das

Sonny Das is an MFA candidate in Directing and Theatrical Production at Northwestern University, with extensive experience in directing, playwriting, and dramaturgy across various theaters since 2004. Notable directing credits include productions at The Gift Theatre, Living Room Playmakers, and Northwestern University, as well as involvement with the American Theater Company, where Das served as an Artistic Associate and Audience Services Manager. As a playwright, notable works have been featured in the BIG SHOULDERS Festival and the TENS Festival at Actors Theatre of Louisville. Additional contributions include work as a dramaturg(e) for various prestigious theaters, supporting productions such as "DISGRACED," which won the Pulitzer Prize in 2012. Educational background includes a B.A. in Liberal Arts from St. John's College and ongoing master's studies at Northwestern University.
