Troy Powers

Troy Powers is currently the AV Systems Support Lead at Northwestern University, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this, Troy served as Lead Technician and Classroom Technician at George Mason University from March 2014 to March 2022, where responsibilities included the installation and maintenance of instructional technology and oversight of student worker workflows across 200 classrooms. Troy began at George Mason University as a Classroom Technician Assistant from May 2011 to March 2013 and has prior experience as an Electrician at Buhl Electric from July 2001 to January 2008, managing electrical installations for residential and commercial projects. Troy holds a Bachelor's degree in History from George Mason University and an Associate of Science in Social Sciences from Northern Virginia Community College.
