Ahmed Edrees currently serves as a Partnership & Capacity Building Technical Officer at the Norwegian Refugee Council since July 2021, where responsibilities include providing legal information and supervising ICLA program activities. Prior experience includes roles such as ICLA Team Leader and Technical Assistant, focusing on case management and program implementation. Ahmed also volunteered with the Libyan Red Crescent, facilitating psychological support activities, and worked as a Training Officer for the Libyan Debate Club, where training sessions were conducted based on British Parliament and Middle Eastern modules. Additionally, experience as a Co-Facilitator for the Youth Dialogue Platform involved facilitating dialogues with influential figures. Earlier in their career, Ahmed worked as a workshop facilitator for ACTED and provided private tutoring in subjects like English, Math, Physics, and Biology. Ahmed is currently a fourth-year medical student at the University of Benghazi, pursuing a degree in Human Medicine.
