Maria João Carrapato

Maria João Carrapato, MBE is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investor relations and governance. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Governors at Oporto British School since November 2009 and President of the Executive Committee at Oporto Cricket & Lawn Tennis Club since March 2021, Maria also holds the position of Head of Investor Relations and Sustainability at NOS SGPS. With a career spanning over two decades, Maria has previously led investor relations at various prominent companies including ZON Multimedia and Sonae, demonstrating a robust background in finance and management. Maria holds an MBA from EGP and a degree in gestão from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, further enhancing a strong academic foundation.
