Aaron Neinstein

Aaron Neinstein is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of California, San Francisco, with extensive experience in clinical practice and diabetes care. Aaron actively contributes to digital health as Chief Medical Officer at Notable and has held leadership roles including Vice President of Digital Health at UCSF Health and Senior Director at the Center for Digital Health Innovation at UCSF. As a co-founder and Medical Advisory Board Member of Tidepool.org, Neinstein is dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with type 1 diabetes through open-source software solutions. Additionally, Neinstein serves on the Health Information Technology Advisory Committee, appointed by the U.S. Government Accountability Office, while advising multiple healthcare organizations on digital health strategies. Educational credentials include an MD from the Keck School of Medicine and a BA in American Studies from Northwestern University.
