Daragh McDermott

Daragh McDermott currently holds the position of Executive Dean and Professor at Nottingham Trent University since March 2021, where also serves as Associate Dean for Psychology. Prior to this, Daragh was Co-editor in Chief for the journal Psychology & Sexuality at Taylor & Francis Group from January 2017 to December 2023, overseeing editorial leadership and strategic development. Daragh has extensive experience in academia, previously acting as Head of School and Associate Professor at Anglia Ruskin University, where responsibilities included strategic leadership in psychology and related sciences. Additional roles at Anglia Ruskin University encompassed senior management and teaching positions, supporting student engagement and research initiatives. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Experimental Social Psychology and a PGCE in Learning & Teaching from Anglia Ruskin University, along with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Galway.
