Derek Agomate

Derek Agomate is an accomplished procurement professional with over two decades of experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Global Procurement Excellence & Operations at Nouryon since November 2022, Derek oversees the end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) process, utilizing advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior experience includes roles at LyondellBasell as Procurement Excellence Manager and Procurement Manager, where Derek led teams supporting North American plants and drove Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives. At Schlumberger, Derek held multiple positions, culminating in management of Sourcing to Contract (S2C) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes and the Global Marine Training and Staffing function. Derek holds an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas and a B.Eng in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin.
