Alexandra Lugo

Alexandra Lugo is a dedicated healthcare advocate and leader with extensive experience in non-profit initiatives and student organizations. As the Founding President of The Children's Charity since April 2020, Alexandra has raised over $70,000 for pediatric patients and organized events to promote awareness on pediatric medical issues. Alexandra serves as a member of the President's 64 at Nova Southeastern University and has contributed to biochemistry research projects focused on protein functions and the oral microbiome's effects on SARS-CoV-2. With a background in various medical and administrative roles, including scribing and assisting at Miami Lakes Pediatrics, Alexandra has also founded the Students for Ukraine initiative, raising significant funds and supplies for war victims. Alexandra holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and MBA, with ongoing education in healthcare specialization.
