Jason Barshay

Jason Barshay has extensive experience in academic advising and higher education administration, currently serving as the Senior Associate Director of Graduate and Professional Admissions at Nova Southeastern University since September 2004. Previous roles include Senior Academic Advisor, where responsibilities included providing academic advisement to undergraduate and graduate students, verifying degree requirements, and acting as a liaison among students and faculty. Prior experience also includes positions at Hillsborough Community College as an Academic Advisor, Adjunct Math Instructor, and Math Lab Technician. Jason Barshay has a background in user interface design from a co-op role at LEXIS-NEXIS and product management at Oracle. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University.
