Susan Rafiee

Susan Rafiee has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Susan currently works at Novavax as a Senior Director, Supplier Quality & Compliance, where they are responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Quality Assurance Operations at Novavax. Susan also has experience at AbbVie, where they held the position of Site Quality Head and was in charge of quality oversight and compliance. Before AbbVie, they worked at Actavis plc (now Allergan) as a Pharmaceutical Technology Specialist, focusing on troubleshooting and process improvement. Susan began their career at Watson Pharmaceuticals, where they held various roles, including Manager of Quality Investigation & Compliance.

Susan Rafiee holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology & Chemistry from the University of Florida. In addition, they have obtained a certification in Conflicts of Interest from the CITI Program in January 2022.
