Jason Quinn is a seasoned professional in the field of battery research and development, currently serving as a Senior Cell Research Scientist at NOVONIX since June 2022. Prior to this role, Jason worked at Salient Energy as a Cell Research Scientist and later as a Cell Engineer, where responsibilities included designing zinc-ion cells and developing pilot-scale manufacturing processes. Jason's experience also includes leading the development of environmentally friendly zinc-ion batteries as an R&D Engineer. Earlier career highlights include serving as a Research Assistant in Jeff Dahn's group at Dalhousie University, focusing on Li-ion electrolyte development, and working as a Battery Engineer at ZSW Labor Für Batterietechnologie, where contributions involved benchmarking lithium-ion batteries and catalyst materials research. Jason holds a Master of Science in Energy Science and Technology from Ulm University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Carleton University.
